Fermanagh Motorcycle Club (FMCC) ran another fantastic event at the magnificent Castle Irvine Estate, Irvinestown last weekend.

The Bike show was held in the arena of Castle Irvine and there was a great show of bikes on display for visitors.

From the vintage 1930 bikes to modern-day BMWs, bikes of all shapes and sizes were to be seen.

On Sunday, with the sun high in the sky this year, the Endurocross which was held in front of the castle, with an astonishing 96 riders from the age of six years old up to 60 years, participated in a race with tough terrain.

With long jumps, river crossings, bridges, logs and lots more the 96 riders of different abilities managed to get through.

It was clear to see the club members had put a lot of effort into putting on a great race.

The riders had to complete as many laps as they could in 14 minutes for the experts, with other classes completing in 12 minutes.

Barry Donaghy was the top rider of the day, taking the win from Garth Knox, with Harold Crawford coming in 3rd.

There was also a youth race with riders from as far away as Wicklow.

There were three new local newcomer youths, aged between six and eight years old riding in the Autos.

Joe Mahon came first in the Autos, with Bobby Mulligan coming in 2nd and Jayden McCusker taking up the third position.

The club had massive help on the day as always and they gave a massive thank you to all who helped out in any way. They also paid tribute to the venue for which they are grateful for the use of.

The club is holding a Grasstrack race for youth and adults on Sunday, June 9 in Lisnakea. For more information keep an eye on Fermanagh MCC's Facebook page.
