Porto vs Liverpool TV channel and live stream: How can I watch Champions League game on TV in UK tonight?

Drawing Porto in European competition has tended to be a good omen for Liverpool, and the sides face each other again tonight.

In the four previous seasons in which the clubs have met, Liverpool have gone on to make the final three times – winning the Champions League in 2019, having finished runners-up the year before, and lifting the UEFA Cup in 2001.

And in the one season they met when Liverpool failed to reach the final, the Reds did at least get to the semi-final, in 2008, when they were knocked out by Chelsea.

Porto go into this evening’s Champions League game with Jurgen Klopp’s side, having failed to beat the Reds in eight attempts and they have struggled overall against English sides in Europe.

In fact, last season’s 1-0 win against Chelsea in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final ended a seven-game run without a victory against Premier League clubs.

That win ultimately counted for little as Porto lost 2-1 on aggregate with the Blues going on to be crowned champions of Europe for the second time.
