PREMIER LEAGUE: Tottenham target 17-year-old Red Star striker

Tottenham are looking to sign "the next Radamel Falcao" - and he's Serbian.

The White Hart Lane club are keeping close tabs on Red Star Belgrade's 17-year-old striker Luka Jovic after he scored three goals in the club's opening four matches, according to reports in the Daily Mail.

Jovic is the youngest player ever to score for Red Star when he made his debut last year and club director Zvezdan Terzic has not only compared him to Falcao but also tipped him to become the best striker in Europe.

Red Star have already rejected a £2m offer from Atletico Madrid and rate Jovic at three times that.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Ajax and Benfica are also monitoring the Serbia U18 international.
