After a weekend off, the Premier League returned with seven fixtures for matchday eight as postponements continue to bite the football calendar.

Chelsea vs Liverpool, Brighton vs Crystal Palace and Manchester United vs Leeds are the matches sacrificed due to a lack of policing amid preparations for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

Two games on Friday night got us going with Fulham and Aston Villa beating Nottingham Forest and Southampton, respectively. On Saturday, champions Manchester City cruised past Wolves at lunchtime before Tottenham beat Leicester in the evening kick-off thanks to a Son Heung-min hat-trick.

League leaders Arsenal returned to the top of the pile with a 3-0 win at Brentford on Sunday. Everton recorded a vital win over a lacklustre West Ham in the only other game that day with no matches scheduled for Monday due to the ceremony in London.
