Premier League: The Galatasaray starlet turning heads in England

Galatasaray are desperate to keep hold of Bruma over the winter transfer window as interest in the winger continues to grow.

A source close to the club has revealed that Tottenham have been scouting the 22-year-old and kept tabs on his recent display against Fenerbahce in the Intercontinental derby.

Galatasaray are not in direct talks with Spurs but have made it clear they want to keep hold of the winger until the summer and that they will be open to negotiations once the season is over.

Spurs have been scouting Bruma all season but could face competition from a number of Premier League clubs, including Manchester United who have been keeping tabs on the winger.

Galatasaray are worried that interest from the Premier League could tempt Bruma into pushing for a January move.

Bruma is keen on a move to England in the future but he’s currently settled at Galatasaray and in the best form of his career.

The Lions want to avoid selling Bruma on a cut price deal and are in talks over a contract extension which would include a high buyout clause in the region of £20 million but have yet to reach an agreement with the player’s agent.

The young winger joined Galatasaray from Sporting Lisbon in 2013 and still has two years remaining on his contract.

He has been in brilliant form for Galatasaray this season and his stock is on the rise after four goals and three assists in the league. The 21-year-old is renowned for his technical ability and has averaged 5.6 dribbles per-game – the highest figure in the Super Lig.
