Puck Soup Podcast: John Tortorella, Patriot

(WARNING: STRONG ADULT LANGUAGE AND HUMOR. LISTENER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.)

PUCK SOUP is the new hockey podcast on the Nerdist network for Puck Daddy editor Greg Wyshynski and Dave Lozo of Vice Sports, Uproxx and The Comeback. This is a hockey podcast, in the sense that the talk about hockey, both on the ice and about fan culture. That’s the “puck.” This is also a podcast about movies, TV, fast food, life lessons and general idiocy. That’s the “soup.”

In Episode 16 — a guest-less, hostful affair — Greg and Dave talk about John Tortorella’s stand against those who sit during the national anthem; ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith doesn’t understand what Team USA is; why Dave loves him some Team Europe in the World Cup of Hockey; Green Day and The Killers are NHL famous; behind the scenes of the Edmonton Oilers’ trades; the best fast-food items, ranked; whether Dave could find a mate on “Bachelor in Paradise”; Greg’s jury duty, and the chocolate bar defense; and your listener mail including tailgate stories, boxers vs. briefs and more.
