Pulisic set to turn down Chelsea and Liverpool transfers

Liverpool and Chelsea target Christian Pulisic looks set to stay at Borussia Dortmund despite interest from the Premier League.

Juventus and Bayern Munich have also been linked with the 19-year-old USA international but he seems likely to remain at Westfalenstadion for at least one more season.

With the end of the Premier League soon approaching, it appears that Chelsea and Liverpool have run out of time to put together a big money bid for the playmaker.

His current contract with Dortmund runs until 2020, which puts pressure on the German side to sell either this or next summer.

An asking price of £62m has been mentioned in other reports, but in 2020 that fee would be significantly reduced. Pulisic scored five goals in 42 appearances last season, and interest in the player was sparked by a superb performance in the International Champions Cup as Dortmund ran out 3-1 winners over Liverpool after he scored twice.
