Rachel Brosnahan Wears a Black Mesh Naked Dress at the 2023 Met Gala

Rachel Brosnahan has continued the tradition of naked dresses at the Met Gala.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actress walked the carpet in an eye-catching, gothic look by Sergio Hudson comprised of a long-sleeved top made of sheer black mesh, attached built-in gloves, and a low-rise column skirt. The gown included two strategically-placed sequin adornments on the chest, as well as scattered sequins along the midsection and sleeves.

The actress added a trailing black coat with silver lining, which she wore draped over her shoulders. She continued the dramatic aesthetic with her beauty look, wearing her hair slicked back into a ponytail, paired with black eyeliner.

This is Brosnahan's third appearance at the Met Gala, after attending 2019's camp-themed festivities and last year's event. For the 2022 party, she embraced the "gilded glamour" theme in a sparkling gown covered in gold circular sequins, which featured a plunging neckline, and a cutout at the waist covered in crisscross straps.

The fifth and final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is currently airing on Amazon Prime Video, with the series finale arriving on May 26. Brosnahan marked the final day of filming on Instagram last November, posting a heartfelt message along with a behind-the-scenes image from set.

"This thing was lightning in a bottle," she wrote. "A cast, a crew and creators who got to time travel for 5 years together. It changed my life. I’m eternally grateful. I’ll have more words later, but for now… Thank you and goodnight."
