Rangers new home kit revealed as fans told when they can purchase strip

Rangers have been showing off their new home kit ahead of it's release to supporters tomorrow morning.

The new strip for the 2024/25 season goes on sale at 8am tomorrow morning and fans were today put out of their misery after waiting to see what it would look like. The top is a fairly simple but smart design with the classic royal blue being the main feature, with flashes of different shades across the torso. There is a quote from the late club legend Walter Smith which reads: "There are people for whom Rangers Football Club is an entire way of life."

There is a red lining on the sleeves while the Rangers badge, Castore emblem and Unibet sponsor are all in white. The Ibrox club released it with a promo video featuring the likes of Todd Cantwell, John Souttar, James Tavernier and Women's Team star Nicola Docherty, along with former favourite Lee McCulloch. There was a voiceover with spoken word from the song 'The Famous Glasgow Rangers.'

Fans have generally seemed to welcome the top with a good reception. Prominent podcast Heart & Hand said from their X account: "New home kit. Don’t immediately like or dislike it, it’s quite plain. See how we do in it first I suppose."

One supporter said: "Absolute beauty," while another wrote: "Stunning. Just can’t wait to see us back playing in it, this is a kit that’ll grow on anyone who doesn’t fancy it to begin with."

Not everyone was loving though and one said: "Not for me, pretty basic looking," while another added: "Dreadful shirt."
