Rangers transfer target 'set' to be fourth summer signing as Gers steal a march on competition

Yusuf Kabadayi looks set to be come the fourth Rangers signing of the summer hot on the heels of yesterday's Clinton Nsiala announcement.

The young Bayern Munich winger was reported as a Philippe Clement target last week and it was thought a deal could be done after he finished his loan spell in 2.Bundesliga with Schalke. There was however said to be competition from Serie A side Lecce and Bundesliga new boys St Pauli.

But Rangers Review now claim the Ibrox side are in "pole position" to win the race for the 20-year-old. Bayern are set to allow Kabadayi to leave as he enters the final 12 months of his deal and Gers are likely to make him their latest addition as Clement undergoes a rebuild.

They've already added Brazilian left-back Jefte from Fluminense, brought Oscar Cortes back on loan with an obligation to buy and yesterday announced the pre-contract capture of Ac Milan defender Clinton Nsiala. The 20-year-old is a left-sided centre back so fills a void there and is seen an as exciting signing.

Rangers have waved goodbye to Jon McLaughlin, Borna Barisic, John Lundstram, Ryan Jack and Kemar Roofe and there could be more following them out the door, with Scott Wright and Rabbi Matondo two players likely to move on. They will also press on with further additions.
