Reading ended their turbulent 2023/24 campaign on a high, beating Blackpool 3-2 in front of a season-high crowd of nearly 18,500.

Take a look at our ratings below.

Joel Pereira, 6: Wasn't kept particularly busy during the match but will be disappointed to concede a sloppy goal at the end. Could do little with the early goal for Karamoko Dembele.

Clinton Mola, 6: Wrapped up a strong campaign with a solid performance at full-back, offering threat in attack and limiting the Tangerines to little in the way of dangerous attacks.

Amadou Mbengue, 6: Classic 'Cheeseburger', full-on and whole-hearted. Loved to fly into a tackle when given the opportunity but complemented partner Tyler Bindon expertly.

Jeriel Dorsett, 6: Targeted from early on and was kept busier than Mola on the opposite side. Was let off the hook in the first half when he ceded possession too easily. Did well to win possession high for Azeez's goal.

Lewis Wing, 6: Slipped at the worst possible time for the first goal, narrowly missing out as Dembele slid in the opener. Not at his scintillating best but played his part in the second goal and deservedly picked up Player of the Season in the post-match celebrations.

Ben Elliott, 6: Busy and composed in possession, the youngster is really finding his feet in his more natural central position.

Harvey Knibbs, 7: Took his goal expertly and played a big part in the third goal shortly after. Full of running and the exact display we've come to expect from the popular midfielder.

Femi Azeez, 7: Great to see him pick up a goal and assist in what could potentially be his final appearance in a Reading shirt. Was a constant thorn in his opposite number's side.

Sam Smith, 7: Clinical with his first-half equaliser and played a large role in the two second-half goals too. Brilliant all-round forward play throughout the afternoon.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, 6: A quiet afternoon for the forward, who did not have the most effective game he has had this season. Needs to nail down a position, either out wide or through the middle, and continue to hone his craft.

Substitutes

Mamadi Camara, 7: Really positive cameo from the winger, who was instrumental in both second-half goals. Ended an injury-hit season with a bang.

Tom Holmes, 6: Had little to do but had a special moment for his final appearance before linking up with Luton Town in the summer.

Charlie Savage, 6: Kept things ticking over and tidy, but the game was won by the time the Wales international made his way onto the field.

Kelvin Abrefa, 6: Small cameo for the full-back who has deputised well for skipper Andy Yiadom. Rarely tested and helped see the game out.

Jayden Wareham, 6: Ran around and kept the Blackpool defence busy. Will have nightmares about his stoppage time miss that denied him his first Royals goal.
