SAINTS under-21s goalkeeper Ollie Wright insisted he is "ready" for the "challenge" after completing a season-long loan move to Yeovil Town.

The 21 year old has joined the Vanarama National League outfit following a successful spell at National League South side Worthing last season.

Having helped the Rebels reach the NLS playoff final, which they lost to Braintree Town, Wright has now made the step up to the fifth tier.

Speaking in his first interview at Yeovil, Wright said: “I’m excited to be here and I’m excited to get going. I had some interest, but coming here was a no-brainer for me.

“From speaking with the gaffer, the style of play he plays suits me. Being a local lad as well makes it a no-brainer.

“It will be nice to play with Dylan (Morgan) again. He is a close mate of mine and it’s been a while. I’m excited.

“I remember coming here last season and thinking ’This is a good place to play football.’ I’m ready to make it up to the fans after my game with Worthing here last season,” he smiled.

He concluded: “I’m ready for the challenge. I’m ready to showcase my skills and what I’m about. The most important thing is helping the team win games.”
