Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde have made the cut for Real Madrid’s starting line-up for tonight’s El Clasico clash with Barcelona

Rodrygo is only on the bench after suffering a groin problem ahead of the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg.

Carlo Ancelotti was already without defenders Ferland Mendy and David Alaba due to leg muscle injuries.

All three undertook individual work early this week while Mendy has restarted training with the ball having picked up his issue in the last round of the Copa.

Nacho Fernandez fills in at left-back in the duo’s absence with Camavinga beating Aurelien Tchouameni to start in central midfield.

On the bench are Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio and Alvaro Rodriguez, the young striker having netted the leveller against Atletico Madrid at the weekend.

Real Madrid XI: Courtois; Carvajal, Militao, Rudiger, Nacho; Kroos, Camavinga, Modric; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius Jr.

Subs: Lunin, Lopez, Vallejo, Hazard, Asensio, Odriozola, Vazquez, Tchouameni, Ceballos, Rodrygo, Mariano, Alvaro.
