Review: Crawley pip Barrow to play-offs as Sutton drop out of Football League

CRAWLEY pipped Barrow to the final League Two play-off spot courtesy of goals from Danilo Orsi-Dadomo and Klaidi Lolos, which gave them a 2-0 victory over Grimsby.

Kian Spence sealed a 1-1 draw for Barrow against already promoted Mansfield, who went ahead through George Maris, but the Bluebirds ultimately fell one point outside the top seven.

Crawley will take on MK Dons and Crewe will face Doncaster, with both first legs on Monday, May 6.

Colchester preserved their Football League status at the expense of Sutton despite a 1-1 draw against Crewe, who struck late on through Elliott Nevitt after Noah Chilvers had put the U’s ahead.

Jack Nolan scored two penalties as Accrington came from a goal down to beat Tranmere 4-1 and Omar Bugiel’s hat-trick helped AFC Wimbledon thrash Walsall 5-1.

Cheltenham became the fourth side to drop into the fourth tier after losing 2-1 at Stevenage, who had Nick Freeman to thank for a last-minute winner.

Matt Taylor cancelled out Kane Hemmings’ corner and although Cheltenham pressed desperately thereafter – with Tom Bradbury’s header cleared off the line – it was Freeman who had the final say.

Cheltenham would have stayed up if they had won because Burton were beaten 3-0 as relegated Fleetwood signed off from the third tier in style thanks to goals from Carl Johnston, Phoenix Patterson and Tom Lonergan.
