Royal Ascot Tips: Ryan Moore to land a Royal double at Ascot

Ascot 14:30 – Ribchester – Eves – 3pts
We are convinced Ribchester will not lose the first race at Ascot today, he’s finished ahead of the second favourite by some distance on numerous occasions. He also won with ease in the Lockinge at Newbury, beating Lightning Speak by almost four lengths.

Ascot 15:05 – De Bruyne Horse – 13/2 – 1pt
De Bruyne Horse scored at Epson despite hating the track when he powered on at the finish, suggesting there could be a lot more to come from this horse. He is looking to make it three in a row today, and looking at the field he should do this relatively comfortably. Oddschecker’s main tipster Andy Holding also believes De Bryune Horse is a good bet on the opening day.

Ascot 15:05 – Red Roman – 40/1 – 0.5pts each-way
Red Roman has to be worth a bet at 40/1 today, on debut he finished ahead of De Bruyne horse, and has since gone onto win at Newmarket.

Ascot 15:40 – Washington DC – 16/1 – 1pt each-way
Washington DC was only just beaten by Marsha at Newmarket last time out, and given the latter is priced at 10/3, O’Brien’s horse is well worth a bet at 16/1. He struggled last time out at Haydock, but we are expecting him to rise to the occasion today.

Ascot 17:00 – Beyond Conceit – 13/2 – 1pt
Nicky Henderson won this race in 2011 with Aeiled, and today’s eight-year-old won over hurdles at the start of the year before being outpaced in the Supreme Novices’. Jamie Spencer teams up with Henderson today, a relationship that has been highly successful in the past. Given the form of some of the horses in this race, he looks a massive price at 13/2.

Ascot 17:35 – Declarationofpeace – 3/1 – 1pt
Ryan Moore takes the ride on Declarationofpeace, however it was Heffernan who rode the horse to victory last time out at Dundalk. On that occasion he beat Treasuring by six lengths, a horse who has since gone on to win his maiden. The ease he won at Dundalk makes this horse worth a bet, if he improves from that run at Dundalk then expect him to be well within the mix near the finish.
