Rusk running back verbally commits to Eastern New Mexico

Jan. 22—RUSK — Rusk High School-running back Bricion Griffin announced via his social media that he has verbally (non-binding) committed to continue his football playing days at Eastern New Mexico University (NCAA Division II, Lone Star Conference).

Griffin finished No. 2 in total yards gained for the regular season among all running backs in the Cherokee-Southern Smith County area in 2023.

In 10 games, he carried 113 times and gained 808 yards and scored seven touchdowns.

Eastern New Mexico finished 5-6 overall and 2-6 in LSC play last season.

The Greyhounds are coached by Kelley Lee.
