After a relatively uneventful Bahrain Grand Prix, the Formula 1 grid turns to one of the most challenging circuits on the calendar this week with the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.

The Jeddah Corniche Circuit this week has the most corners of any track this year with 27 but is the second-fastest circuit Formula 1 will race on in 2024. It's one of many front-limited circuits on the calendar, meaning front-end grip and balance is at a premium because of many medium- and high-speed corners. It's a stark difference from the rear-limited Bahrain International Circuit last week with slow corners which emphasize high exit speeds.

That means different drivers and teams could perform much better than last weekend. It'll be hard for anyone to catch Red Bull's Max Verstappen but the gap will likely be smaller. If you're looking for some extra excitement this weekend, here's a same-race parlay that could be promising.

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) podium finish, Lando Norris (McLaren) podium finish, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) top six finish, Oscar Piastri (McLaren) top 10 finish (+1016)

Verstappen won this race in 2022 but finished second in both 2021 and 2023. The Red Bull was near-untouchable with him behind the wheel in Bahrain thanks to a better aerodynamic package. That setup kept him from struggling with rear tire wear compared to the rest of the field. A podium pick here is less of a risk in case his teammate Sergio Perez - who won this race in 2023 - has a strong showing once again.

McLaren predicted they'd be slightly off the pace in Bahrain but they overperformed. Lando Norris said after qualifying he likely could've started on the front row if not for some mistakes and he still made it to sixth in the race. This week, McLaren should fare much better. They were one of the fastest cars last week in the higher-speed corners like what they'll see this weekend. A Norris podium is +500 and powers this parlay to a good return.

Hamilton opted for a compromised setup last week which protected his rear tires but didn't end up working as hoped in the race. Like McLaren, Jeddah should suit the Mercedes better. This is the site of Hamilton's most recent win back in 2021. A top-six result would be a good way to bounce back from seventh last week.

If Norris can make the podium in a better track for McLaren, there's no reason his teammate Piastri can't make the top 10, save for a crash or mechanical failure. He showed last season he can keep up with Norris at tracks that suit the McLaren package.

Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) pole position (+285)

Leclerc's arguably the best qualifier on the Formula 1 grid. He actually had the fastest lap in qualifying last weekend but set it one session too early for pole position. This week could see him go one better from his second-place start last week.

Will there be a Safety Car? Yes (-700)

This one's a slam-dunk. Jeddah is one of the fastest tracks on the calendars on a street track with very close barriers. At least one driver crashing is very likely and would bring out a safety car during the race. All three prior Saudi Arabian Grand Prix events have included a safety car period.

Winning margin OVER 10 seconds (-125)

With lower tire wear compared to Bahrain, Sunday's Grand Prix will likely be a one-stop affair. Longer stints means we'll likely see wider gaps by the chequered flag as there's fewer resets due to pit stops.

Sportsbook Review: Verstappen to win

Rodrigo Villagomez writes: "The biggest drawback of laying this much juice on an outright winner, even Verstappen, is that anything can happen. Max has notched only one victory over three races at this track. His teammate Perez snagged the win in 2023 after Verstappen experienced problems in qualifying and started 15th."

Action Network: Winning margin over 9.5 seconds

Cody Goggin writes: "Even with the best car in the field, [Verstappen] is just a superior talent and will likely outrun his teammate along with the rest of the field. We are witnessing a historical run by Verstappen here. Barring a caution in the second half of the race or a mishap, I’d expect him to win by at least 10 seconds."

Point Spreads: Verstappen, Perez, and Hamilton podium

Staff write that the Jeddah Circuit will likely be better for Mercedes compared to last year and Perez will likely perform well once again on a street track.
