Police are probing a violent disorder that broke out on the day of a Swindon Town football match.

The incident happened when Town hosted Aldershot Town in the FA Cup on November 4, losing the game 7-4.

Videos that surfaced after the game appeared to show fans piling into the County Ground Hotel and then multiple people could be seen throwing punches while police entered the venue and attempted to break up the violence.

Now the images of six men police want to speak to in connection with the violent disorder have been released by Wiltshire Police.

A police spokesperson said: "We would like to hear from anyone who recognises any of the six males in these CCTV images.

"Officers would like to speak to them in connection with a violent disorder that took place at the County Ground Hotel in Swindon on November 4 - the day of a fixture between Swindon Town FC and Aldershot Town FC.

"If you know who they are, or you recognise yourself in these images, please call us on 101 quoting log 54230118463."

A heightened police presence was in place at Swindon Railway Station that evening, with officers at the scene confirming it was related to the earlier game.

Around a dozen officers and four vans remained outside the station several hours after the final whistle.
