PSA: Selling Sunset season 7 is out this week

Selling Sunset fans get ready, as season seven is officially on its way, and drops this week on Netflix. Given the drama and chaos that went down in season six, we're so ready for another season of shocking revelations, OTT outfits and the occasional property tour.

Here's everything we know about Selling Sunset season 7, from recent news, cast members and what could go down.

Selling Sunset season 7 release date

Selling Sunset is officially set to return to our screens on 3rd November 2023. Netflix made the official announcement on their X (formerly known as Twitter) account, posting a picture of the cast looking into their reflections on a surface of water. In the reflected image the cast are all making very shady looks at one another, possibly suggesting the tension to come.

Netflix captioned the image: "Do you spy drama in that reflection? Selling Sunset returns 3rd November!"

Jason and Mary previously accidentally let slip the release date for season seven. In a Instagram live over the summer, which a fan recorded and shared on TikTok, Mary and Jason were asked when the next season is coming.

Jason begins saying: "We don't know when season seven is going to come out." Before Mary interjects and says: "Probably fall, maybe, I don't know."

And it appears Mary was right as the new season is now set to air right in the middle of fall/autumn. So exciting!

When was Selling Sunset season 7 confirmed?

Netflix renewed Selling Sunset for both a sixth and seventh series in June 2022, with Chrishell then taking to Instagram to reveal filming had started that summer.

She wrote at the time, "CONGRATS to this fun lovable crazy group! #SellingSunset has been officially renewed for seasons 6&7! Filming on season 6 begins this summer! Love our dysfunctional family! And THANK YOU everyone for watching and for all the love- and even to those that hate watch us, because that’s half the fun of the show anyway honestly-ha! 😜😅Thank you! 😉🙏🏼♥️😘 "

Who will star in Selling Sunset season 7?

Given the new official poster for Selling Sunset season 7, officially set to return for Selling Sunset season seven are the following cast members:

• Mary Fitzgerald

• Chrishell Stause

• Amanza Smith

• Emma Hernan

• Chelsea Lazkani

• Nicole Young

• Bre Tiesi

Now, as you may have noticed one previous cast member is notably absent from the new season poster - Heather Rae Young.

Heather has previously appeared in all six seasons of Selling Sunset, however, before the season's release date was confirmed, Heather claimed she had not been asked back for filming following her maternity leave.

"Season 7 is filming right now, but I've been off [on] maternity leave and I've been excited to get back to work, and so far I have not been called back," she said on E! News. "It's been a little frustrating. So [I'm] not sure what's been going on," Heather added.

Fellow cast member Bre Tiesi, however did confirm in an interview with Cosmopolitan UK that Heather does actually feature in the new season as the two filmed scenes together.

She said: "Heather's in it. She doesn't do the entire season with us unfortunately. But she does do a couple episodes from what I know."

So is Heather in the new season? From the pictures released of the new season so far none of them feature Heather, however this is not to say she is not in the new season, as Bre mentions she does appear in a few episodes. Guess we'll just have to wait and see for the new season to drop.

What might happen in Selling Sunset season 7?

As well as confirming the release date of the new season, Netflix also shared a number of images from the show, giving us a hint of what we can expect to see.

The biggest thing to feature in the new season will be a group trip to Cabo, where the Oppenheim Group has set up a new brokerage, as previously featured in Selling The OC. Given the drama that went down in Mexico for the OC cast we can only imagine what chaos will ensue for the Los Angeles cast.

And from the looks of the other photos, we can also expect to see more lavish parties and some extremely extra outfits.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK about season seven, estate agent Bre Tiesi teased, "[it's] a lot more fun for me. You get to see a lot more of my personality and my bond with the girls. It's very different to six. I had a lot more fun and I just loved my relationship with the girls. And of course the real estate and the fashion is always top tier. So I think that'll be really cool to watch."
