No matter how many times you think you’ve seen it all, there's always something else that comes around and blows your mind.
Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad, but in this case, it’s mind-numbingly ridiculous.
Two men at a charity golf event for a school in South Africa started brawling on the 18th hole. The fight led to some heavy punches being thrown, with one man getting his shirt ripped off and then using the flag as a weapon.
The altercation started after one of the men accused the other of stealing his cell phone. The man being accused reportedly picked up and answered a phone he saw on the 17th hole. It was reported that both men were drunk at the time, according to the New York Post, but you probably could’ve figured that one out just by watching the video.
“There was a heated exchange of words and a rumpus when the players approached each other,” course manager Deon Kruger said, per the New York Post. “This whole thing comes down [to] too much alcohol and the players, who until then had been well-behaved, drinking on the course.
“We do not condone nor allow drinking on the course but some players, like these, had snuck alcohol onto the course and were drinking while playing. The drinking resulted in this very unfortunate incident.”
The event organizer said they have no idea who these two men are as they’re not parents of the school the event was raising money for.
“We have no idea who they are,” they said.
