The Sidemen are yet to confirm details for a possible 2024 Charity match. It follows a series of events run by the popular YouTube group that has raised millions across the last eight years.

First starting in 2016 at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium in front of 15,000 fans, the Sidemen - one of the most-watched sets of online figures across the world - have raised over £3.5million via their efforts for a variety of organisations. Having played now at the Valley and St Mary's, in 2023 they went one step further and packed out 65,000 seats at the London Stadium.

Unlike previous years though, there is yet to be any details for a possible sixth match. Whilst KSIOlajideBT, Miniminter, Behzinga, TBJZL Wroetoshaw, Vikkstar123, and Zerkaa keep fans on the edge of their seats waiting for an announcement, here is what we do know about the next Sidemen Charity match.

Will there be a Sidemen Charity match in 2024?

So, although there is yet to be a match confirmed there have been hints. Several Reddit users claim that various YouTube personalities - and not just the Sidemen - have said in their videos that there will be a game. Vikkstar also said that there might be an event that is different to the match, described as 'not football.'

Simon Minter (Miniminter) and Josh Bradley (Zerkaa) have reportedly said that there will be a match. At the end of the 2023 event TBJZL (Toby Brown) asked Zerkaa, "One more next year?" to which he said, "Yes, I've got to score! I'm an embarrassment to my friends and family."

Toby replied: "You want us to do one more, that's what it was." KSI and Behzinga (Ethan Payne) then got involved, adding, "We have to another one for Speed's sake," after IShowSpeed missed a penalty and some massive chances during the game. At that stage KSI said, "Even more people are going to want to watch now, Wembley! Wembley."

Since then there has been relative radio silence on the matter publicly. In 2023 it was held on September 9 with previous years being on June 3, 2016, May 21, 2017, June 2, 2018, and September 24, 2022. It leaves plenty of time for there still to be an event in 2024, but details had been released this time last year.

It won't be at Old Trafford or Wembley

On December 28, 2023, the Sidemen revealed that the next event was 'likely to be the same stadium.' Vikkstar123 explained that, "Wembley said no." He then added, "they just hate us."

Old Trafford also 'said no' according to the gamer, with TBJZL saying, "they have their own foundation doing a Charity match in that same time period so they have no other windows for us to do it."

He added: "Either we boot them off and do the Charity match, which they won't do." KSI then proposed the Etihad Stadium, who play home to Manchester City. Vik responded by saying that Old Trafford and Wembley are the only two bigger stadiums in the country than the London Stadium.

Who will be involved?

Without knowing the type of event or date it is hard to predict, but a similar group of players have been used throughout. There is typically a Sidemen XI and a YouTube Allstars team.

The Sidemen XI includes each of the original members (TBJZL, KSI, Miniminter, Wroetoshaw, Behzinga, Vikkstar123) and have had FIFA Manny (Toby's brother), Bateson87, JME, HughWizzy, Spencer FC, RiceGum, Keemstar, Pieface, Calfreezy, MrBeast, ChrisMD, Callux, Randolph, Billy Wingrove, Angry Ginge, Dji (KSI's brother), and others involved.

For the Youtube Allstars notable players (and managers) are: Danny Aarons, WillNE, Max Fox, Yung Filly, IShowSpeed, Theo Baker, Niko Omilana, Chunkz, Noah Bek, AnEsonGib, Cal The Dragon, Jay Swingler (part of TGFBro), Joe Sugg, Stephen Tries, Rommell Henry (the other half of TGFBro), The Burnt Chip, CasparLee, JMX, Capgun Tom, HurderOfBuffalo, Joe Weller, Tobiias, Nepenthez, and others.

In 2023, former Premier League referee Mark Clattenberg also officiated the game.

When will tickets be released?

In short, we don't know. But when more details for the event are released we will bring you all of the information here on football.london.
