Soccer Aid lineups in full as England try to break five-year curse against Rest of the World XI

With the 2024 edition of Soccer Aid for UNICEF set to kick-off this evening, football fans up and down the country are getting ready to enjoy some of the world's most recognisable footballers take each other on alongside a stacked cast of celebrities at Stamford Bridge.

The annual charity event, which has raised over £90m since the inaugural edition in 2006, is now hosted every year having previously been held once every two years, with the World XI having won the previous five editions over England including last years 4-2 victory at Old Trafford.

This year, England will be managed by Chelsea legend and ex-manager Frank Lampard, alongside his uncle and former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp with musician and Soccer Aid founder Robbie Williams as part of their coaching staff.

Ex-Arsenal and England goalkeeper David Seaman and This is England actor Vicky McClure will also take part as coaches, as they overlook a star-studded cast of former Three Lions internationals that include Jill Scott as captain, Theo Walcott, Joe Cole, Jermain Defoe, Ellen White and Karen Carney.

British athletics icon Sir Mo Farah, actor Tom Hiddleston, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, former England field hockey star Sam Quek and actor/comedian Paddy McGuiness are just some of the celebrities that will be playing up against the Rest of the World XI with England cricket legend Stuart Broad, YouTuber Miniminter and Strictly Come Dancing star Bobby Brazier all set to play in the event for the first time.

Full England lineup: David James, Gary Cahill, Jill Scott (captain), Karen Carney, Jack Wilshere, Joe Cole, Theo Walcott, Ellen White, Jermain Defoe, Stuart Broad, Bobby Brazier, Sam Thompson, Paddy McGuinness, Tom Grennan, Mo Farah, Alex Brooker, Erin Doherty, Steven Bartlett, Danny Dyer, Sam Quek, Miniminter, Eddie Hearn, Tom Hiddleston.

As for the Rest of the World, captain Usain Bolt, who is undefeated in his three previous appearances at the event, will return to lead the line for ex-Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino's side, who himself is taking charge of the side for the second straight year alongside his assistant manager Jesus Perez and former Tottenham and Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane.

The Argentinian will arrive at his former side's groundless than a month after walking away from the Chelsea job in May following a two-day meeting with club officials. Another group of Blues legends are returning to west London to take part in the event, with Petr Cech, Michael Essien, Mikel John Obi and Eden Hazard all playing for the World XI.

World XI celebrities include comedian Lee Mack, rapper Tion Wayne, boxer Tommy Fury, bodybuilder and Gladiators competitor Livi 'Diamond' Sheldon, and YouTuber Theo Baker. Freestyler Billy Wingrove is also acting as the World XI's Skills Coach.

The show will be hosted by UNICEF UK Ambassador Dermot O’Leary, who will be joined once again by UNICEF UK High Profile Supporter, Alex Scott. You can watch live on Sunday, June 9 at 6PM on ITV, ITVX and STV.
