Sophie Turner installs Sansa's Game of Thrones throne in her LA home

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas haven’t shared any pictures of their baby, but for Game of Thrones fans, they may have shared the next best thing.

Over the weekend, Turner took to her Instagram to give fans a look at the very throne that her character, Sansa Stark, sat in after being crowned Queen of the North during the Game of Thrones series finale last year.

“Welcome home,” Turner, who was 14-years-old when she began playing Sansa Stark in 2011, captioned the picture.

The home in question, of course, is the one Turner shares with her husband and their baby girl, Willa. Though the couple never confirmed they were expecting a child, Turner, 24, and Jonas, 31, did make an announcement following the birth of their daughter in July.

“Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby,” a press statement from the couple read.

The birth of their daughter wasn’t the first time that Turner and Jonas, who began dating in 2016, surprised their fans.

In 2019, the two made headlines when they eloped in Las Vegas following the Billboard Music Awards (footage from the ceremony was leaked on Instagram by friend and guest, Diplo).

The couple later held a more traditional wedding ceremony a month later in the south of France, with their family and friends - including Kevin and Nick Jonas, as well as Turner’s former Game of Thrones co-star, Maisie Williams, serving as a maid of honor.
