South Africa take 91-run lead after being dismissed for 359

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - South Africa were dismissed for 359 early on the third day of the second test against New Zealand on Saturday to give them a 91-run first innings lead. The Proteas resumed on 349 for nine with Morne Morkel and Vernon Philander, who extended their last-wicket partnership to 57 runs before Morkel was bowled by Jeetan Patel for 40. Philander was left on 37 not out. Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma had rescued South Africa with a 160-run partnership on Friday after the hosts had taken four wickets in the first session to reduce the visitors to 94 for six just before lunch.
