South Korea vs Mexico, World Cup 2018 LIVE: Carlos Vela scores penalty- latest score, goals, updates plus prediction, how to watch online, team news

Flying high from their shock victory against Germany, Mexico will look to add to their impressive start with a win against South Korea which will give them a commanding stance in Group F.

Hirving Lozano’s 35th minute goal gave Mexico a lead to defend against Germany and they held their own to give them the chance of realistically qualifying as group winners. South Korea, on the other hand, were underwhelming in their 1-0 defeat against Sweden and struggled to get Son Heung-min into the game, something he later apologised for.

Defeat for South Korea and it’s time to start packing their bags for the plane back home, which could tempt Shin Tae-yong into a more attacking set-up in an attempt to take the game to their opposition.

Odds

  • South Korea: 5/1

  • Mexico: 4/6

  • Draw: 5/2

Predication

South Korea 0 vs 2 Mexico. South Korea were so poor against Sweden and it is hard to see them do much more against another superior opponent. Mexico will be full of confidence and should make light work of South Korea.
