South Kortright, Delhi boys take home Tournament championships

Dec. 29—The South Kortright boys basketball team won the Pat Grasso Tournament championship in Laurens with a 66-50 win over Milford Thursday.

Connor Quarino took home tournament MVP with 40 points in the win while Jacob Staroba added 10 points for the Rams.

Carter Stevens had 24 points while Christian Lawson added 18 in the loss.

Milford will host Worcester Friday.

Delhi 63, Cooperstown 42 (Thursday)

Delhi won the Dick White Tournament championship Thursday with a 63-42 win over Cooperstown.

Angelo Krzyston and Rocco Schnabel each had 13 points for the Bulldogs while Lucas Nealis added 12 and Ivan Richardson added 10 in the win.

Charlie Lambert led the Hawkeyes with 14 points.

Delhi improves to 5-2 and will visit James I. O'Neill Wednesday while Cooperstown will host Morrisville-Eaton Thursday.

Roxbury 69, Gilbertsville-Mount Upton 47 (Thursday)

Roxbury defeated Gilbertsville-Mount Upton 69-47 Thursday in the Pat Grasso Tournament in Laurens.

Jordan Johnston led Roxbury with 24 points and five steals while Cole Hamil added 18 points and Taran Davis had nine points and 16 rebounds.

Devon Hartwell led G-MU with 23 points while Noah Pain added 14 in the loss.

G-MU will visit Charlotte Valley Tuesday.

Sherburne-Earlville 69, Unadilla Valley 48 (Thursday)

Unadilla Valley fell to Sherburne-Earlville 69-48 in the UV Holiday Tournament Thursday.

Keagan Platt led UV with 15 points while Haywood Edwards added 13 in the loss.

Nick Hull had a game-high 17 points for S-E.

UV will visit Harpursville Thursday.

Richfield Springs defeated Beaver River 55-53 in the Dick White Tournament in Cooperstown Thursday.

Bradyn Dunckel led the way with 20 points while Alex Baker added 12 points in the win.

Kade Schneider had a game-high 31 points for Beaver River.

RS will host Edmeston Friday.
