South Kortright, Schenevus boys notch league victories

Jan. 18—The South Kortright boys basketball team defeated Margaretville 58-42 on the road Thursday.

Connor Quarino had a game-high 31 points for the Rams while Jacob Staroba added 11 points in the win.

Connor Wayman had 14 points for Margaretville while Hunter Balcom added 12 points in the loss.

SK will be at Maine-Endwell next Tuesday.

Schenevus 61, Cherry Valley-Springfield 45

Schenevus defeated Cherry Valley-Springfield 61-45 on the road Thursday.

Lucien Kortekaas had a game-high 22 points for the Dragons while Allen Osborne had 19 points and Tim Green added 10 points in the win.

Max Horvath had 11 points for CV-S while Kris Cade added 10 points in the loss.

Schenevus will host Charlotte Valley Monday while CV-S will host Jefferson/Stamford Tuesday.
