The special gift a Premier League club has sent out to loyal away fans
Watford have sent out a special gift to all of their supporters who attended every away fixture last season.
The Premier League club has decided to reward their most loyal fans by posting them a free replica shirt to wear during the 2018/19 campaign.
Hornets captain Troy Deeney wrote a letter to accompany the present and thanked the Vicarage Road faithful for following the team last term.
He wrote: “I know some of you getting this might not be the type to wear replica shirts, but find a good home for it among family and friends and remind them that you receiving it is attached to a lot of pride in our club.

“Supporting the biggest clubs in the country is easy. You don’t have to be there all the time – you can watch them on the telly and say you’re a fan. It’s different with us and that’s why we wanted you to know it matters.
“And if you do the social media stuff, send @WatfordFC a picture or video on Facebook, Twitter or Insta and we’ll share them so everyone knows you were with us all the way last year. All 19 away games. That’s a decent effort, by the way.”
Got this in the post today. Thank you @WatfordFC for the new shirt for free 👀🐝 #All19 #watfordfc pic.twitter.com/qj0BMM8pvW

Lovely surprise from @WatfordFC this morning. A new away shirt and letter from Troy thanking me for going to all 19 away games last season. I feel a bit guilty about missing Chelsea at home (I know). But the train is already booked for Burnley #All19 pic.twitter.com/VOxFzMjQo5

Watford finished 14th in the Premier League standings during the 2017/18 and went through two managers as Javi Gracia replaced Marco Silva in January.
