Sports cancellations and postponements for Friday, Jan. 12

Jan. 11—With more winter weather projected on Friday, Jan. 12, this has impacted local high school sporting events and teams.

In addition to all practices being cancelled, here is a full list of cancellations for Friday night:

Clinton girls and boys basketball at Central DeWitt has been moved from Friday to next Tuesday, Jan. 16 with the varsity girls at 6 p.m. and boys to follow. The Sabers have moved their cake drive from Friday to Tuesday as well.

Camanche and Northeast have postponed their rivalry matchup that was supposed to take place Friday night and are working to find a make up date.

Fulton has cancelled their JV wrestling match at Erie-Prophetstown and rescheduled it for next Friday, Jan. 19 at 4:30 p.m. Their boys basketball game at Polo has been postponed to a later date.

Prince of Peace announced that they have cancelled their home girl and boy doubleheader with Lisbon and are working to find a later date to make it up.
