THE fans have spoken – and Wanderers will take to the field for home games next season in a shirt with badge front and centre!

A new design for the 2024/25 home kit was revealed this morning, as selected by an online poll on the official website which attracted nearly 15,000 votes. It is currently available for pre-order but will hit the club shop on Monday, July 1.

Plans to abandon the classic white design in favour of a striped or patterned home shirt were immediately kyboshed by the fanbase, with the club submitting another, more traditional version, which has now been backed by the majority.

It is the first time that Bolton’s shirts will sport a centralised badge since 2010/11. Kit manufacturers, Macron, have also moved their ‘hero’ logo to the centre giving what the club have termed a “classic but contemporary” design.

Next season’s shirt sponsor will once again be Victorian Plumbing, whose name and logo are on the front.

The kits – which were modelled by Josh Sheehan, George Thomason and Victor Adeboyejo - also have a rounded collar with navy and red trim, plus the logo of Whites Beaconsfield on the sleeve.

“Wanderers” is printed on the nape of the neck to sit above the back-of-shirt sponsor, ebuyer, and the kit is completed with white socks and navy shorts, which also bear the sponsor name of Utilita.

Wanderers CEO Neil Hart said: “We are delighted to introduce our home kit for the 2024/25 season, as chosen by our supporters from the ‘Pick Our Kits’ survey.

“With close to 15,000 ratings across the kit concepts, the feedback we received from supporters was hugely positive for this winning design. You overwhelmingly wanted a plain, white shirt - here it is, and we think it looks brilliant.

“I personally travelled across to Italy to meet with the team at Macron, and I would like to thank them for their support in bringing this design to life.

“Additionally, thanks must go to our kit partners who have shown their support for the upcoming season in Victorian Plumbing, Utilita, Whites Beaconsfield and ebuyer.

“We’d also like to thank the Bolton Wanderers Supporters’ Trust for initially bringing the idea of ‘Pick Our Kits’ to us in what is a hugely popular initiative, as well as Social Asking for facilitating the survey.

“Lastly, a thank you must go to our fans who without their valued contribution and participation in the concept, this would not be possible.”

The away kit will be launched on Monday, June 24, and a separate kit for the newly relaunched women’s team is also due to hit the shelves soon.

Paul Stanworth, Head of Retail at Bolton Wanderers, added: “We’re thrilled with the final look of our home kit for the 2024/25 campaign.

“We know Wanderers’ supporters love a traditional home shirt and whilst our core values remain the same, this kit offers something different to previous years.

“With the centralisation of the logos creating a modern feel to it, as well as features such as a navy collar, chequered embossing and being made from eco-fabric, we’re extremely happy with the end-product.

“We hope the fans love the look and enjoy wearing the kit with pride during the season!”

Home shirts cost £60 for adult sizes and £45 for juniors. Infant and baby kits, including shorts and socks, are £45.

All 2024/25 season ticket holders will receive 10 per cent off the price of a shirt when they order online by logging into their club account.
