TAUNTON Town Football Club have appointed Richard "Ricky" Borodin to their analysis team.

He will work with current analysts Jordan Barrow and Adam White to further enhance the club's pursuit of high performances on the pitch.

Borodin's experience in football analysis includes previous positions as a video scout for Dinamo Tbilisi, Forest Green Rovers and most recently as the first team lead analyst at Cribbs FC.

He joins Taunton as the club undergoes a shift in leadership.

Richard Luffman, the former Cribbs title-winner manager, was appointed as the club's new manager on Saturday (May 11) following the departure of Rob Dray.

Luffman led Cribbs to their highest-ever league position after a successful 2022/23 season.

His impressive record includes 76 victories in 114 league games and a Hellenic League Cup win in the 2021/22 season.

Dray's departure was announced following Taunton Town's relegation from the National League South in April.

Luffman's backroom team has also seen a new addition, with former Taunton striker Steve Murray returning to Wordsworth Drive as assistant.

Murray, a fan favourite, had played 71 times for the Peacocks, scoring 31 goals.

Before returning to Taunton, Murray had worked with Luffman at Cribbs, and had acted as their interim manager for nine matches.
