Tenby Sailing Club's dinghy racing was finally able to start this week.

After persistent adverse weather conditions, favourable weather on April 16 allowed dinghy sailors to enjoy their beloved sport.

Four young sailors from the club also showcased their talents at the Tera Start of Season championships in Rutland on April 13-14.

Anwen Sims from Neyland secured 38th position out of 65 contestants, Isabelle Nuttall from Tenby came 41st, Cerise Le Petit from Saundersfoot in 46th, and Iolo Bool from Dale in 60th.

The youngsters demonstrated incredible skill competing against entrants from across England and Wales.

The Sailing Club also cleared the car park of boats on April 11 in readiness for the summer season.

On April 17, Juniors will begin their training sessions under training principal Alistair Mackay at 5.30pm.
