There are still three players struggling to adapt to Unai Emery’s tactics at Arsenal, it is claimed.

Emery took charge of the Gunners back in May and after two defeats, against Manchester City and Chelsea, to open the season he’s overseen a brilliant start to the season.

Arsenal are unbeaten in 14 Premier League matches since then and currently sit in fifth, two points behind third-placed Tottenham.

Emery took over from Arsene Wenger’s 22-reign and brought in a very different style of play at the Emirates Stadium.

However, four months into the season, there still appears to be a few players who are struggling to his tactics.

Laurent Kosicelny is set to make his comeback for Arsenal in their final Europa League group match

Laurent Koscielny has been out of action for seven months through an Achilles injury and is expected to make his comeback against Qarabag in the Europa League on Thursday.

However, The Telegraph report that Emery is more concerned about his tactical understanding than his fitness.

With Rob Holding out for the season, and Konstantinos Mavropanos and Shkodran Mustafi also on the sidelines, Emery will hope Koscielny can get up to speed quickly.

Two other players that join the French centre-back in struggling to adapt are Aaron Ramsey and Mesut Ozil, it is claimed.

Unlike Koscielny, both had a full pre-season under the new Gunners boss but are reportedly still struggling to adapt to Emery’s philosophy.
