Todd Cantwell could QUIT Rangers this summer as the club are reportedly open to offers.

The playmaker was signed by Michael Beale from Norwich City in January 2023 and has become a fans' favourite at Ibrox. However, after an impressive first six months in Glasgow, Cantwell struggled to replicate the same form last season and has yet to fully win over new boss Philippe Clement.

Cantwell was dropped for two powderkeg Old Firm clashes against Celtic at Ibrox and Parkhead and was even an unused sub for the latter. He started last month's Scottish Cup final defeat at Hampden but incurred the wrath of Clement at full-time as footage emerged showing the fuming Belgian shoving his player out of the way as Cantwell complained in the face of the match officials.

The 26-year-old's social media activity has also irked those within the club, with various cryptic Instagram messages including "Birds can't fly in a cage" sparking rumours of unrest and a potential departure.

Now, the Scottish Sun reports that Gers would be willing to sell the midfielder this summer as Clement continues to overhaul his squad. Jon McLaughlin, Borna Barisic, Ryan Jack, John Lundstram and Kemar Roofe have already been offloaded from the wage bill, with loan player Fabio Silva also returning to Wolves.

Long-serving duo James Tavernier and Connor Goldson have also been heavily linked with Ibrox exits and a reunion with former boss Steven Gerrard at Al-Ettifaq.
