PV Sindhu defeated China's He Bingjiao 21-13, 21-15 to win bronze medal for India. 

In men's hockey, India is 3-1 against Great Britain in quarter-final.

Meanwhile, boxer Satish Kumar lost to Uzbekistan's Bakhodir Jalolov in men’s 91 kg category in the quarter-finals.
