Tottenham eye Tosin Adarabioyo to bolster defence with Fulham ready to cash in

Tottenham have identified wantaway Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo as a possible centre-back target.

Spurs want to upgrade their defence for new head coach Ange Postecoglou.

Adarabioyo has one year left on his contract at Fulham and is ready to leave Craven Cottage this summer after talks over a new deal broke down last week.

French clubs Rennes and Monaco are also interested in the former England youth international, who is thought to be open to a move abroad with his preference based on sporting opportunity over whether his next destination is domestic-based.

Fulham are ready to cash in on the 25-year-old and have held talks with Fiorentina defender Igor Julio as they look for a replacement.

Spurs are set to overhaul their defence this summer. Davinson Sanchez looks set to leave and Clement Lenglet has returned to Barcelona following his loan this season.

Marc Guehi is another possible target but Crystal Palace are demanding £50million for the England international.

Palace are holding firm over the fee because Chelsea are due 20 per cent of his transfer fee as part of a sell-on clause in the deal that took him to Selhurst Park in 2021.

The Eagles also believe Guehi's value is at least equal to Aaron Wan-Bissaka when he joined Manchester United for £50m in 2019.
