Davinson Sanchez - 8

Defended well, putting his body on the line to keep West Ham at bay and getting his positioning right when covering wing-back Doherty.

Eric Dier - 6

Solid but unspectacular again. Made one crucial intervention with a brave diving header to repel a cross.

Matt Doherty - 7

Needed to impress and did well. Involved in the build-up to both Spurs goals and put in a couple of dangerous low crosses.

Oliver Skipp - 7

Full of energy and bite against an impressive West Ham pairing. His eventual challenge is to compete with Declan Rice for an England place.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - 8

Played a lovely one-two with Bergwijn to create the opening goal on an impressive return to the side. Relished the second-half rearguard.

Sergio Reguilon - 7

Energetic and solid defensively. Made a limited impression in the final third, one cross for Skipp aside.

Lucas Moura - 8

Capped a bright return to the side with the winning goal. Full of clever tricks and passes, including a Kevin de Bruyne-esque ball for Kane to create the game’s first big chance.
