Tottenham striker Kane gets fans moving in Lucozade Sport training session

Tottenham striker Harry Kane led 140 football fans in a training session in support of Lucozade Sport’s Made to Move campaign – which aims to get 1 million people moving more by 2020.

The fans won the right to train with the England man for 90 minutes at Lucozade Power League in Vauxhall, London – and it poured with rain throughout.

Lucozade Sport ambassador Kane led the group in a warm up before taking players in small groups through some of his personal shooting drills.

He was joined by top coaching staff that helped put fans through their paces with a variety of testing challenges from passing and control skills, obstacle dribbling skills and sprinting and agility drills.

Kane said: “This is the first time I have done something like this, on this scale and it was great fun. Normally, I’m the one taking part in the training session, so it was nice to be on the other side and I really enjoyed working out with fans.

“The response to the Lucozade Sport Made to Move session has been incredible; to see so many people keen to come down and be a part of the drills session was overwhelming and I want to get behind more initiatives like this to get people moving more and taking part in sport.”
