Harry Kane could be making his final home appearance for Tottenham tonight in front of 10,000 returning fans for the club’s penultimate Premier League match of the season.

The England captain wants to leave Spurs this summer and believes he has a gentleman’s agreement with chairman Daniel Levy that will allow him to do just that.

Interim boss Ryan Mason insists Kane remains “100 per cent committed” to finishing the campaign strongly, while he is also set to win a clean sweep of Tottenham’s player of the season awards after tonight’s game.

As if the Kane saga wasn’t enough pre-match drama, further fan protests against owners ENIC and the board are expected at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight.

On the pitch, Spurs are now unable to finish in the top four following Chelsea’s win over Leicester, but are still looking to clinch a top-six spot to salvage something from what has been a disappointing season in N17.

Looking to stop Mason - who will be replaced by a new permanent manager over the summer - registering a fourth successive home win is an Villa side that look to be just out of reach of a top-half finish, but have still enjoyed an impressive year with their highest top-flight points tally for a decade.
