Tottenham 2-3 Bournemouth LIVE! Ouattara goal - Premier League match stream, latest score updates today

Tottenham vs Bournemouth LIVE!

Spurs simply have to win today to keep their faint hopes of finishing in the top four alive. They were poor and rode their luck - and then some - to beat Brighton last week but it is the dropped points at Southampton and Everton which will likely decide their fate, so cannot afford more of the same against another relegation-struggler today.

Richarlison is fit once again and his first Premier League goal for Spurs wouldn’t go amiss, though he as ever has a task to dislodge the likes of Heung-min Son or Dejan Kulusevski in the starting lineup, with Cristian Stellini - who has avoided a touchline ban for his bizarre red card against Brighton - so far unwilling to change from Antonio Conte’s frustrating setup.

Bournemouth are fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table, so will prove no pushovers. An early goal could easily see Spurs’ nerves show once again. 17:16 , Alex Young

97min: Full-time! Surely that’s that for Tottenham’s top-four hopes.

17:11 , Alex Young

95min: The Cherries win it at the death! Ouattara after Solanke wins the ball back in Spurs’ final third!

17:06 , Alex Young

91min: Six minutes added on!

GOAL!

17:04 , Alex Young

90min: This one counts! Danjuma fires home from the edge of the area!

Time for another?

17:02 , Alex Young

87min: Richarlison thinks he has scored but Danjama is offside.

A few minutes, plus added time, to play.

17:01 , Alex Young

85min: Perisic now sends a corner straight into the first man. Just no spark at the moment from a team desperately needing to score at least once.

16:57 , Alex Young

81min: Perisic bends an effort wide of the post.

16:56 , Alex Young

80min: I think Kane is playing in midfield. Richarlison wins a free kick on the edge of the area.

16:54 , Alex Young

No one can accuse Stellini of not going for this now. Richarlison has replaced Skipp, with what looks like Harry Kane dropping into central midfield.

Spurs had already gone to a flat-back four when Danjuma replaced the hapless Sanchez.

16:53 , Alex Young

78min: Kane, Son, Kulusevski, Danjuma and Richarlison are now all on the pitch.

16:52 , Alex Young

77min: Still nothing doing for Spurs. Richarlison is on for Skipp.

16:51 , Alex Young

75min: Spurs almost gift Bournemouth a third with more unsure defending, with only a good Lloris save, er, saving them.

Crowd are getting very restless.

16:47 , Alex Young

71min: Spurs have 20 minutes to save their faint top-four hopes.

Kane goes close with a header but Perisic’s cross was slightly underneath him.

16:45 , Alex Young

69min: Mepham isn’t happy after a coming together with Kane, claiming a stamp? Replays show there is nothing doing and VAR agree.

16:42 , Alex Young

65min: A VAR check after Kane goes down inside the area... but they aren’t interested.

16:39 , Alex Young

63min: Danjuma is lively. He is fed into the area by Kane for a snapshot at goal.

16:37 , Alex Young

60min: Perisic inadvertently wins a corner after a wayward cross.

It’s whipped in and lands at Perisic in space inside the area with the goal gaping, but he sends it over.

16:34 , Alex Young

58min: Oh no.

Sanchez, who came on at 35mins is withdrawn on 58mins.

Huge cheers/jeers from the Spurs fans at that, which leaves a bad taste.

Danjuma is on.

16:31 , Alex Young

55min: Danjuma looks to be coming on.

16:27 , Alex Young

51min: Solanke puts the visitors ahead!

What have Spurs got now? Sanchez gets done twice by Tavanier in a matter of seconds to set up Solanke to slot home.

16:25 , Alex Young

50min: Early change in the second half for Bournemouth as goalscorer Vina is forced off. Smith comes on.

Second half!

16:22 , Alex Young

46min: We are back under way!

16:15 , Alex Young

Spurs were cruising after Son's goal and should have scored at least one more, but Vina's equaliser changed the game.

A very open game. I fear for Spurs if Bournemouth score next.

Half-time!

16:07 , Alex Young

48min: That’s your lot for the first half.

16:05 , Alex Young

47min: Stephens booked for a kick on Kane.

16:03 , Alex Young

46min: Three minutes added on.

16:03 , Alex Young

45min: Oof, Christie gets booked for diving inside the area but I’m not sure you know. It wasn’t a penalty but that looked harsh.

16:01 , Alex Young

42min: The atmosphere has been really affected by that equaliser. Spurs need to get in at half-time and get reenergised.

GOAL!

15:56 , Alex Young

39min: Vina marks his first Premier League start with a goal!

Porro loses the ball at right-back, Bournemouth pounce and feed the loanee into the area to dink over Lloris!

15:55 , Alex Young

38min: A stunning ball over the top from Dier to Son, who drives into the area, cuts inside but can’t find Kulusevski. Kane runs onto the loose ball and sends it into row Z.

15:53 , Alex Young

36min: Sanchez is on with 10 minutes of the first half remaining. Looks like a muscle injury for Lenglet.

Romero moves to the left of the back three.

15:51 , Alex Young

34min: Uh oh. Lenglet has just pulled up. Sanchez is being readied. Another injury worry for Spurs.

15:49 , Alex Young

31min: Slight concern from the Spurs bench for Skipp after a tackle a few minutes ago, but it looks like he’s OK to continue by giving the thumbs up.

15:47 , Alex Young

29min: Lloris at full stretch to deny Tavernier. Spurs have regressed a tad since those quickfire Son and Kane chances and that’s a wake-up call.

15:41 , Alex Young

24min: And now Kane is denied by Neto!

He normally tucks those away with ease as he’s fed into the area and hits it first time on the stretch, but the keeper gets down to force away.

15:39 , Alex Young

21min: It should be 2-0 and Son is denied by Neto!

He looks back to his best as he sends the defenders backtracking before unleashing a powerful strike towards the top corner, which is palmed away.

15:36 , Alex Young

17min: Bournemouth should be level!

The ball falls to Billing on the edge of the area but he fires over with Lloris flat-footed.

Nick Purewal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

15:33 , Alex Young

Spurs’ dominant start has been rewarded with an easily constructed goal for Son Heung-min. Lenglet’s ball over the top to the left wing allowed Perisic to play into the box, allowing Son to sweep onto the ball and slot home. Bournemouth cannot find a foothold so far.

GOAL!

15:32 , Alex Young

14min: A superbly worked goal as Son fires home inside the area!

Lenglet plays the ball long down the flank for Perisic, who runs onto it and finds Son in space to stroke home.

15:29 , Alex Young

11min: Skipp is being urged on to get forward, much like he did last week against Brighton. It didn’t really work then but Bournemouth’s midfield is weaker.

15:27 , Alex Young

9min: Oh dear. Perisic lines up the free kick but sends the delivery straight out of play.

15:26 , Alex Young

8min: Son and Perisic linking up nicely, the former taking the ball from the latter and then winning a free kick.

15:24 , Alex Young

6min: Spurs now get their foot on the ball and look to make something happen through Perisic, who first tries and fails to find Kane in the box and then feeds Romero to try and fail to do the same.

15:21 , Alex Young

3min: Porro gives away an early foul, can’t complain.

Bournemouth have started brightly, seeing plenty of the ball.

KICK-OFF!

15:17 , Alex Young

1min: Better late than never... we are up and running in N17!

15:13 , Alex Young

Finally! Here come the teams.

15:12 , Alex Young

Well, Spurs are here. No sign of Bournemouth yet.

15:07 , Alex Young

Right, it’s almost time. The teams are back in the dressing rooms.

14:55 , Alex Young

Hopefully not a sign to come as Stellini looks pained ahead of kick-off.

Here’s our man at Spurs today.

14:11 , Alex Young

So, Tottenham are unchanged as expected.

Richarlison is on the bench again and you’d imagine he comes on after missing out on minutes last week. Danjuma could come off the bench against his former side.

Bournemouth make two changes as Tavernier starts instead of Ouattara and Vina makes his first Premier League start ahead of former Spurs youngster Smith. Senesi is back on the bench after a hamstring injury.

Here’s how the visitors look.

Tottenham XI

14:01 , Alex Young

Unchanged, of course.

13:57 , Alex Young

Team news is imminent.

Eight cup finals for Spurs

13:44 , Alex Young

Tottenham will be treating every Premier League game like a 'final' as they look to finish in the top four.

Spurs sit fifth in the league with 53 points from 30 games - three points behind Newcastle United and Manchester United, who both have a game in hand. Newcastle are currently losing at Aston Villa.

"We could do (finish in the top four). We have to play the final eight games like they are eight finals," Stellini told reporters.

"We started with (last week's win over) Brighton and now we have to play attacking football. We are trying to push more, to create more chances, to try to create a good atmosphere in the stadium so the crowd gets behind us."

Latest odds

13:17 , Alex Young

The bookies agree, it seems.

  • Tottenham win: 1/2

  • Draw: 17/5

  • Bournemouth win: 11/2

Odds via Betfair, subject to change.

13:13 , Alex Young

Tottenham have won every home game against Bournemouth and lost just once in the league - which came on the south coast in 2019. It’s a very impressive record and one they should maintain today.

Spurs came from 2-0 down to win 3-2 at Dean Court earlier this season.

Score prediction

12:58 , Alex Young

Though it’s not hard to detect an apathy towards Spurs at the moment, their home record is pretty convincing when looking at the cold, hard numbers.

With that in mind, they should have enough.

Tottenham to win 2-1.

Cherries in fine shape

12:53 , Alex Young

Bournemouth have few fitness problems and hope to have defender Marcos Senesi available again after he missed the win at Leicester with a hamstring problem.

Hamed Traore remains sidelined by a foot injury in Gary O'Neil's only concern. The manager has hailed his players after an upturn in form but wants consistency ahead of the trip to London.

"Everybody - my team, the staff, the players - are giving absolutely everything. We're working our socks off," he said. "The group, at the moment, deserves that praise that it gets but I'm very conscious we've achieved nothing at this moment.

"Every win feels big and that's why we work so hard to put in as much as we can because we know the rewards at the end of the week are huge. But we'll be working very hard over the next six or seven weeks to get ourselves out of it (risk of relegation) as quickly as we can."

Richarlison fit again

12:41 , Alex Young

Cristian Stellini says Tottenham are being cautious with Richarlison's fitness but the forward is in contention to play today.

The Brazilian has returned after another muscle injury, a number of which have hampered his debut season in north London.

“We have to take care with Richy. To give him training and the right timing to play. To not take risks ... Sometimes [players] hide their condition to try to play, to have one possibility to score, to do something good.

"But now when you live experience like Richarlison this season, maybe they can grow in their mindset. I hope that Richy understands that we are taking care of him."

Tottenham's other injured players are not back yet with Ben Davies (hamstring), Emerson Royal (knee) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) "working hard" but training alone. Rodrigo Bentancur (knee) and Yves Bissouma (ankle) are out for the foreseeable.

Welcome

12:29 , Alex Young

Good afternoon and welcome to the Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of the Premier League clash between Tottenham and Bournemouth.

Spurs are fighting for the top four (just) while the Cherries are fighting for their top-flight status.

Home form hasn’t been a problem for Spurs, despite all their struggles this season, but they haven’t got wins against relegation-threatened sides over the line too often of late.

Kick-off in N17 is at 3pm BST. We have Nick Purewal for us there today, stick with us.
