Tottenham face Olympiacos in the Champions League on Tuesday, knowing a win will secure their place in the last 16 with one group game remaining.

Jose Mourinho‘s appointment as manager, less than 24 hours after Mauricio Pochettino was sacked, proved enough of a spark to see Spurs win a long-overdue away game in the Premier League at the weekend.

Improved performances from the likes of Dele Alli, Ben Davies and Eric Dier have brought plenty of positivity back to Spurs and Mourinho should experience a warm welcome for his first home game in the dugout.

Olympiacos realistically know that their chances of finishing third, and securing a Europa League spot, largely hinge on their game against Red Star Belgrade on the final match day, despite drawing 2-2 at home to Tottenham back in September.

Here is everything you need to know about the game:

Prediction:

Mourinho can keep the returned feel-good factor going here, getting a first home win and securing Tottenham’s place in the last 16 at the same time.

Olympiacos’ away form is patchy of late, with one win in six across all competitions, and they haven’t won an away in a group stage fixture since October 2015.
