The summer window is already hotting up with big names making moves as new managers swap clubs across Europe.
With a draining 2020/21 campaign complete and many top players busy preparing for a hectic summer at the European Championship, it could be a disjointed window as clubs attempt to improve their squads in the midst of a huge tournament.
Harry Kane is intent on leaving Tottenham, with the likes of Man City, Manchester United and Chelsea all interested.
City’s Champions League Final loss, coupled with Sergio Aguero’s move to Barcelona, is spurring on the City hierarchy to deliver a world-class forward to Pep Guardiola - but Thomas Tuchel and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also want Kane, so it should be a fierce battle, though a resolution is still some way off with the England captain now putting his club future on hold until AFTER Euro 2020.
That’s before we throw in the chance of Mauricio Pochettino returning to north London and convincing Kane to stay, which may be unlikely - but we understand Spurs are close to appointing Antonio Conte.
Speaking of Inter and Premier League returns, Romelu Lukaku says he’s staying despite interest from Chelsea... though their first choice always was Borussia Dortmund wunderkind Erling Haaland.
Don’t rule out a summer move for Jadon Sancho with Man Utd set to return with another offer for the England winger, while the club have also been linked with another Three Lions international in Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier.
Liverpool have already made their move in the market by signing RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate, and may not stop there as they bid to regain their Premier League crown after being deposed by Man City, with a move for Leicester’s FA Cup Final match-winner Youri Tielemans now being mooted.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s failure thus far to agree a new long-term contract with Emile Smith Rowe has Premier League rivals including Aston Villa circling.
