Saints in talks over Anjorin
15:11 , Malik Ouzia
Southampton are in talks with Chelsea over a deal for academy graduate Tino Anjorin, writes Jack Rosser.
The 20-year-old is in the process of cutting short his loan deal with Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow before moving again this month.
Southampton, who have become a home away from home for Chelsea graduates, signed Tino Livramento on a permanent and Armando Broja on loan from the Blues in the summer.
Both Livramento and Broja have been roaring successes on the south coast this season and the Saints are keen to make the latter’s loan permanent. Talks have been held this month in order to get ahead of other interested parties - including top four chasing West Ham - but a deal in the summer appears more likely.
Anjorin cannot join Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side on loan as they already have one Chelsea player on a temporary deal, but talks have been opened over the possibility of a permanent transfer before Monday’s deadline.
If that cannot be reached a loan to the Championship for the attacking midfielder, who is just about recovered from a broken metatarsal, is the most likely route with Southampton ready to return in the summer.
Talks are at an early stage and no fee as yet been agreed, though the Blues did include a £17million option to buy in the loan deal with Lokomotiv Moscow.

Kalidou Koulibaly is Juventus’ ideal replacement for Matthijs de Ligt, if the centre-back leaves in the summer.
Chelsea are one of several teams monitoring the Dutch defender but, having cost the Old Lady around £65million, they will expect a big fee for his services.
Napoli defender Koulibaly is Juve’s preference should he go, so say La Gazzetta dello Sport, with the hope being that he wants one more big move having turned 30 last June.

“I’ve learned a lot and I’m ready to hopefully be in a spot over the next few games that I’m more comfortable in.”

As reported by Standard Sport on Wednesday, PSG are working on signing Ndombele on loan until the end of the season but want to downsize Mauricio Pochettino's bulging squad before bringing in new players.
Ndombele has also been linked with Everton and Valencia, with reports in the France saying the La Liga club have an agreement in place with Spurs for the unwanted midfielder.
But Standard Sport understands Ndombele has no interest in moving to Goodison Park or the Spanish club, with his heart set on a reunion with Pochettino in his homeland.
