Arsenal have finally signed Declan Rice, with West Ham confirming their captain had left the club without a single mention of the Gunners in the statement. The £105million deal breaks the British transfer record and comes a day after Arsenal had confirmed the signing of Jurrien Timber from Ajax in an expensive few hours for the club.
Over at Chelsea, there are fresh fears that Liverpool could swoop in and disrupt their bid for Moises Caicedo. Talks continue with Brighton over a £100million deal while the likes of Dusan Vlahovic and Rayan Cherki are key targets for Mauricio Pochettino, who is set to sanction Romelu Lukaku’s exit to Inter Milan or Juventus for around £34m.

Chelsea are not interested in signing Dusan Vlahovic this summer, it has now been claimed.
The Blues have once again been heavily linked with the former Arsenal target over recent weeks, with reports that Juventus need to offload him in order to make room for Romelu Lukaku.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano says that Juve have offered a package worth €37.5m plus €2.5m in add-ons for Lukaku, whom Chelsea are still hoping to get off the books in the next fortnight despite Inter Milan seemingly now ending their own interest in a permanent deal.
However, any agreement over Lukaku is said to be contingent on the Serie A giants selling Vlahovic by August 4, with Chelsea not pursuing the Serbian international as things stand, per Romano. So much for any swap deal...

The Italian giants had prepared a bid worth £30million, plus a further £4m in add-ons, but the Belgium international and his representative, Sebastian Ledure, were not able to be contacted on the phone.
Inter were ready to match a Juventus bid made on Wednesday, with an offer much closer to Chelsea’s £40m asking price.

Kane, who has entered the final 12 months of a six-year contract, returned to Spurs training on Wednesday and has since held positive talks with new head coach Ange Postecoglou, though his future remains up in the air. He is set to be part of the squad to leave for Perth for the first leg of the club’s pre-season tour this evening.
As it stands, Kane is keeping an open mind on his future and would consider leaving Spurs this summer, departing on a free transfer in a year’s time or signing a new contract.

Rice is closing in on a move to Arsenal this weekend and is set to join the Gunners as part of a deal worth £105million.

John Berylson, 70, was killed on July 4 when his car veered off the road in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and his funeral was held in his native Boston on Monday.

Rice is joining Arsenal after they agreed a £105million deal to buy the England midfielder from West Ham.
