Tuesday's prep roundup, Thursday's schedule

Jan. 10—Boys

OKAY 91, OKTAHA 54 — Class A No. 1 Okay jumped out to a 30 point lead in the opening period and by the half led 58-29. Diezel Davis had 19 points, Ashton Walters added 16, Tito Ramos had 14 and Bryson Parnell finished with 12 all to lead the Mustangs (11-3). Dylan Walden and Braxton Casey both had 11 points for Class 2A No. 7 Oktaha (10-3).

HILLDALE 65, LOCUST GROVE 54 — After the first period ended with a 13-13 score, Hilldale hit the gas and took a 31-18 lead into the break. At the end of the third the Hornets (5-5) led 50-37. Ty Wilson finished with 22 points and was 3-for-3 on free throws. Cole Leach added 19 points and Mason Forhan had 11.

GORE 35, WEBBERS FALLS 24 — Webbers Falls had a 18-16 midway advantage but Gore used a 10-4 run in the third period to take the lead on the way to the win. Bryon McDoffie had 11 points for the Pirates (6-6) and Journey Shells had 10. The Warriors (4-5) were led by Maddux Shelby in the loss with 10 points.

WAGONER 41, TAHLEQUAH SEQUOYAH 34 — Dante Swanson, off the bench, had a team high 13 points to lead Wagoner which led 16-14 at half. Shaun Atkins finished with 10 points for the Bulldogs (6-5).

HASKELL 72, PORTER 25 — The Haymakers finished the first period with an 18-1 lead and widened the score to 38-10 at halftime. Brady Neal had 18 points to carry Haskell (4-7) while James Smith added 17 and Dylan Ozinga 12. Porter (0-14) was paced by Braydon Nelson with 11 points.

PORUM 58, KEOTA 53 — Michael Wright had 22 points and Isaiah Sallee followed with 17 as they led Porum (7-6).

CHOCTAW 73, MUSKOGEE 46 — Javian Webster led the Roughers (4-7, 1-4 District 6A-4) with nine points in the loss.

FORT GIBSON 70, CATOOSA 67 — Fort Gibson improved to 7-5. No stats Provided.

Girls

OKTAHA 57, OKAY 41 — Okay led 16-14 at the finish of the first period but Class 2A No. 4 Oktaha took control from there and went into the break ahead 28-24. The Lady Tigers came out in the third and went on a 23-11 run to distance themselves from the Lady Mustangs and went to the fourth with a 51-35 lead. Ava Scott led Oktaha (14-1) with 22 points while Brynna Rodden added 19. Okay (10-4) was powered by Teagan James with 14 points. Addie Randell and Jayden Berry both had 11.

LOCUST GROVE 73, HILLDALE 42 — Catelin King had 21 points for Hilldale in the losing effort as the Lady Hornets (3-6) were down 41-18 at the half to the Class 4A No. 15 Lady Pirates.

FORT GIBSON 63, CATOOSA 16 — Class 4A No. 8 Fort Gibson built a 22-2 first period lead that grew to 43-4 at the half. After three quarters the Lady Tigers (8-4) led 56-7 as Addy Whiteley finished the night with 12 points.

WEBBERS FALLS 50, GORE 39 — Teralynn Colston had 20 points in guiding the Lady Warriors to victory. Webbers Falls (6-4) led 23-17 at the midpoint but closed out the third with a 36-26 advantage. Natalie Casteel scored 13 points and Rayleigh Moore added 10 to top Gore (2-9).

WAGONER 42, TAHLEQUAH SEQUOYAH 33 — Wagoner forced eight fourth quarter turnovers and outscored the Lady Indians 12-2 to get the win. Tahlequah Sequoyah held a 23-19 lead at intermission and a 31-30 lead going to the fourth. Elle Bryant led the Lady Bulldogs with 15 points and Gracy Shieldnight ended with 12 points and five steals for Wagoner (9-2).

PORTER 33, HASKELL 24 — Tied at 10-10 at the break, Porter finished the third period with a 26-17 lead on the way to the win. Aaliyah Moore led the Lady Pirates (8-7) with 16 points while Riley Westmoreland had 10 for Haskell (4-6).

PORUM 61, KEOTA 21 — Courtney Pease had 19 points to lead the Class A No. 15 Lady Panthers (12-0). Addy Dishman added 12.

ROLAND 57, CHECOTAH 46 — Checotah trailed 29-22 at intermission but the gap widened to 42-33 at the finish of the third quarter. Ruby Folkner led the Lady Wildcats (1-6) with 16 points followed by Nyah Cloud with 14.

CHOCTAW 69, MUSKOGEE 27 — MayLaysia Burton finished with 14 points and was 9-for-12 at the charity stripe to lead Muskogee (1-8) which was down 42-12 after the first half.
