Uefa Nations League draw LIVE group fixtures: England learn opponents for 2020-21 tournament

Welcome to the Evening Standard's LIVE coverage of the Uefa Nations League draw.

Nine months on from Portugal's victory in the inaugural tournament on home soil, the draw for the 2020 edition of the competition takes place this evening.

The reigning European champions downed the Netherlands in Porto last June courtesy of a second-half goal from Goncalo Guedes, with England eventually finishing third following a penalty shootout victory over Switzerland that came after an error-strewn extra-time display against the Dutch.

There have been a few changes from the inaugural competition, most notably the top three tiers now consist of 16 nations, up from 12. Which means those nations relegated last season - such as Germany - are back in League A, B or C.

Gareth Southgate will be keen to avoid a horror group, with France and Germany possible opponents.
