Bipsing earned a Performance of the Night bonus for his first-round knockout of Luke Rockhold to capture the middleweight championship in the fight card's main event. Rockhold overcommitted with a right hand and paid the price. Bisping countered with a right to the chest followed by a left hook to the jaw that dropped Rockhold. Rockhold quickly got back to his feet and tried to clinch, but Bisping knocked him down again with a left hand. Two follow-up right hands separated Rockhold from his consciousness, and a new 185-pound champion was crowned.

MMA legend Henderson was awarded a Performance of the Night bonus for his second round knockout of Hector Lombard. The former two-division Pride FC champion hurt Lombard in the first round, but made an uncharacteristic rookie mistake. He rushed in and got clipped by a left hand that put him on his back. He scrambled to his feet only to be knocked down again. Henderson survived the round and finished Lombard early in the second frame.

The 45-year-old landed a head kick in the opening moments of the second round. Lombard quickly looked to get the fight to the ground, and Henderson delivered a back-elbow to the temple that knocked the Cuban out. Two elbows followed before the referee could stop the fight.

The 13-bout UFC 199: Rockhold vs. Bisping 2 fight card featured eight knockouts and five decisions.
