UFC 201 Medical Suspensions: Lawler Suspended, but Benoit Only Lengthy Sidelining
Former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler received a medical suspension following his loss at UFC 201. Ryan Benoit, however, was the only fighter to receive a lengthy suspension.
Tyron Woodley made quick work of Lawler, knocking him out a little over two minutes into their UFC 201 headlining bout. It was only the second time in Lawler's 15-year career. He will be sidelined for 45 days after the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission released the fighter suspensions on Monday.

Joining Lawler on the sidelines is Ryan Benoit, who opened the pay-per-view portion of the fight card with a slit-decision victory over Fredy Serrano. Benoit, however, is out for six months unless a doctor gives him earlier medical clearance.
