UFC Fight Night 68 Attendance and Gate from New Orleans

UFC Fight Night 68: Boetsch vs. Henderson delivered an exciting night of fights on Saturday night, while pulling in a modest crowd.

With 10 out of 12 fights ending in a finish, the fighters electrified the 6,231 in attendance at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans. That was good enough for a live gate of $621,523, according to UFC PR representative David Lockette.

There were a record-tying seven first-round finishes on Saturday night, including Dan Henderson dropping his patented H-bomb on Tim Boetsch in the night's main event. It was an important victory for Henderson, who had lost five of his six previous bouts, and wanted to prove those blaming his 44 years of age wrong.

The co-main event saw Ben Rothwell take an impressive step up the heavyweight ladder with his first-round submission of Matt Mitrione, which puts him on a three-fight winning streak.
