The Ultimate Fighter 17 finalist Uriah Hall took out sixth-ranked middleweight Gegard Mousasi in the co-main event to seal his performance bonsus. Mousasi grounded and dominated Hall in the opening round, but Hall put the Dutchman away just 25 seconds into the second frame with a spinning back kick to the face followed by a flying knee and unanswered punches.

The Ultimate Fighter 14 featherweight winner Diego Brandao was awarded a bonus check for his 28-second finish of Katsunori Kikuno. Brandao overwhelmed his Japanese opponent with punches. He dropped Kikuno with a right hand and never let him recover.

The final Performance of the Night honors went to Keita Nakamura for this third round submission of Li Jingliang on the preliminary card. Nakamura overcame all sorts of adversity to capture the win. He was nearly knocked out in the second frame and stunned in the final round before locking on a rear-naked choke that rendered Jingliang unconscious.

UFC Fight Night 75: Barnett vs. Nelson took place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
